NÂNG CAO KỸ NĂNG NHẬN DIỆN VÀ PHÒNG CHỐNG KHỦNG BỐ CHO HỌC SINH

Để giải đáp những câu hỏi trên, Dewey Schools Hải Phòng đã phối hợp cùng Cán bộ Phòng Cảnh sát PCCC và CNCH Khu vực KV6 triển khai buổi tuyên truyền kỹ năng phòng, chống khủng bố với mục đích trang bị cho học sinh những kỹ năng nhận diện dấu hiệu rủi ro, mối nguy liên quan đến khủng bố.
Với kinh nghiệm chuyên môn cao và khả năng truyền tải thú vị, các chiến sĩ đã mang đến những kiến thức cơ bản như: khái niệm khủng bố, khủng bố trong cuộc sống, khủng bố trong môi trường học đường, những dấu hiệu khủng bố quen thuộc,... tới quy trình báo động, phong tỏa, sơ tán và liên hệ với cơ quan chức năng khi cần thiết cho toàn bộ học sinh của Dewey Hải Phòng.
Để những kiến thức không chỉ là lý thuyết, các bạn học sinh Dewey Hải Phòng còn được đóng vai vào các tình huống khủng bố thực tế để nâng cao cảnh giác và luyện tập khả năng xử trí theo đúng quy trình. Sau khi nghe chuông báo động và nhìn thấy khủng bố, các bạn nhanh chóng tìm nơi ẩn náu, đồng thời tập trung quan sát tình hình xung quanh, giữ an toàn, đợi chờ cơ quan chức năng tới giải quyết.
Đỗ Gia Linh (11 Atlanta) chia sẻ rằng: “Buổi đào tạo phòng chống khủng bố là một trong những buổi đào tạo hữu ích và thú vị nhất em từng được học. Dù biết rằng Việt Nam chưa ghi nhận trường hợp khủng bố học đường nào nhưng em nghĩ đây vẫn là một kỹ năng quan trọng mà học sinh nào cũng cần được đào tạo”

ENHANCING STUDENTS’ SKILLS IN IDENTIFYING AND PREVENTING TERRORISM
Should you run away immediately when you notice signs of a terrorist threat?
Which locations are considered ideal for seeking safety in the event of terrorism?
To address these questions, Dewey Schools Hai Phong collaborated with officers from the Fire Prevention, Firefighting and Rescue Police Department (Area KV6) to conduct a training and awareness session on terrorism prevention. The program aimed to equip students with essential skills to recognize risk factors and potential threats related to terrorism.
With strong professional expertise and engaging delivery, the officers provided students with fundamental knowledge, including: the concept of terrorism, terrorism in daily life, terrorism in school environments, common warning signs of terrorist threats, as well as procedures for raising alarms, securing areas, evacuating safely, and contacting authorities when necessary. The session was delivered to all Dewey Hai Phong students.
To ensure the knowledge went beyond theory, Dewey Hai Phong students also took part in role-playing realistic terrorism scenarios to heighten awareness and practice proper response procedures. After hearing the alarm and identifying a threat, students quickly sought shelter, carefully observed their surroundings, ensured their own safety, and waited for authorities to handle the situation.
Đỗ Gia Linh (Class 11 Atlanta) shared:
“The terrorism prevention training was one of the most useful and engaging sessions I’ve ever attended. Although Vietnam has not recorded any cases of school-related terrorism, I still believe this is an important skill that every student should be trained in.”
